දිනක ජැන් හන් ඇතුළු කණ්ඩායම ජපානයට විරුද්ධව කැරැල්ලක් ගසා පැනයාමට ගන්නා උත්සහය අසාර්ථක වෙනවා. මෙහිදී ජැන් හන් සහ කුමරිය හැර අන් සියල්ලම මරණයට පත්වෙනවා.අවසානයේ කුමරිය ජපන් සිටුවරයෙක්ට විවාහ කර දෙනවා.ඔවුන්ට එක් දුවක් ඉපදෙනවා.මෙසේ කාලය ගෙවීගොස් දකුණු කොරියාව සහ ජපනය අතර පැවති යුද්ධයෙන් කොරියාව ජයග්‍රහණය කරනවා.මෙහිදී කොරියනු ජාතිකයන්නට නැවත තම මව්රට බලා පිටත් වීමට අවස්ථාව උදාවෙනවා.කුමරිය දරුවා සමඟ ගුවන්තොටුපොළ වෙත යනු ලැබුවත් ඇයට තම රටට ඇතුළු වීමට තහනම් කර තිබෙනවා.
කුමරිය දැඩි කම්පනයට පත්වන අතරම ඇයව මානසික රෝහල වෙත ඇතුළු කරනවා. මෙසේ අවුරුදු ගාණක් ගෙවී යනවා. කුමරිය වයසට යනවා මේ රෝහලේ දීම. මෙහිදී ජැන් හන් පත්තර වාර්තාකාරයෙකු ලෙස කටයුතු කරනවා. ඔහු දැනගනු ලබනවා කුමරිය වෙනත් නමකින් ජපානයේ මානසික රෝහලක සිටින බව. පසුව ඔහු මැදිහත් වී දකුණු කොරියාව තුළ තිබූ ඇයගේ තහනම ඉවත් කරගනිමින් කුමරියව ඇයගේ මව් රට බලා රැගෙන යනවා.මෙහිදී ඇයව පිළිගැනීමට ඇගේ ළඟම සේවිකවක් වූ බොක් සුන් ඇතුලු ඇනෙක් සේවකයන් ගුවන් තොටුපළවෙත පැමිණ සිටිනවා.මෙසේ වසර 38 කට පසුව ඇය තම මව්රටට පැමිණෙනවා. පසුව ඇය මාළිගය වෙත යනවා. ඇය තමන්ගේ කුඩා කාලය මතක් කර ගන්නවා.ජැන් හන් අවසානය වෙනතෙක් ඇය සමඟ සිටිනවා. කුමරියක් තම රට විදපු දුක් ගැහැට මෙහිදී අපට පෙන්වනවා. මෙසේ දකුණු කොරියාවේ අවසන් රාජකුමරියේ කථාව අවසන් වෙනවා.

This movie is directed by Hur Jin
Ho. While this was screened in 2016, this film is based on the life story of
the last royal princess of the Joseon Dynasty, which was a true story in South
Korea. So let's get to the story,
Princess Deok Hye's father is King Go Jong. Even though South Korea surrendered to Japan at this time, King Go Jong always refused to do what Japan needed. Moreover, he is also criticized by South Korean officials who are greedy for Japan's state power and money, and who are loyal to Japan. Because of the situation, those officers are enmity with the king. However, the king loves his daughter unconditionally. When she was young, the king proposed to little Jan Hung, a cousin of the king's most trusted person, Kim Huan Jin, to marry the princess and take good care of her.
Time passes and the princess enters
her teenage years. The name of the princess's servant is Bok Sun. She is like
the shadow of the princess and she is by her side everywhere. One day the
princess has to attend a festival. Here she is given a kimono and told to wear
it and participate in the ceremony, but she wears a western dress and
participates in the ceremony. Here the Japanese officials as well as the
pro-Japan Korean officials are angry. They also see how the people of the
country love her very much. Will the princess become a threat to them one day?
They are also afraid of going.
Behind all these things is the
official named Han Tek Soo. He arranges to send the princess to Japan to study.
But the princess refused and then threatened Princess Han Teck Su saying that
if she did not like this trip, "the princess will die like the king."
Because of this, the princess left Japan. Soo acts. Meanwhile, Jan Han (the
person who was asked by the king to marry the princess) comes as a Japanese officer
and protects the princess. In fact, he comes to Japan as a spy. Meanwhile, he
and a group are planning to take the princess back to her mother country.
Actually, the princess is still living with her brother. Despite all the
comforts, this Korean royal family has to live as puppets.
The princess has to give a speech in front of the people who were brought as Korean slaves. When the princess refuses, Han Teck says to give the princess the opportunity to visit her mother. Because of this, the princess went to this ceremony, although she told the first part of the story in Japanese, but at the end, seeing the pain of her people, the princess changed her story and apologized to the people in Korean, asking them not to give up. At this time, the princess's servant hits him. However, that night, the princess's servant Bok suu is deported to Korea. In the meantime, it is said that Agabisawa has also died. The princess is deeply shocked.
One day Jan Han and his group rebel
against Japan and fail in their
attempt to escape. Here, all but Jan Han and the princess are killed. Finally,
the princess is married to a Japanese gentleman. They have a daughter. Time
passes and Korea wins the war between South Korea and Japan. Here the
opportunity arises for Koreans to return to their motherland. The princess was
allowed to go to the airport with the child, but she was banned from entering
her country. The princess is traumatized and admitted to the mental hospital.
Years pass like this. The princess is getting old in this hospital. Here Jan
Han works as a newspaper reporter. He learns that the princess is in a mental
hospital in Japan under another name. Later, he intervened and removed her ban
in South Korea and took the princess to her home country. Here, some employees
including her closest employee, Bok Sun, are at the airport to welcome her.
Thus, she returns to her home country after 38 years. Then she goes to the
palace. She remembers her childhood. Jan Han is with her until the end. Here we
are shown the sufferings of a princess for her country. Thus ends the story of
South Korea's last princess.
