මම අද කතා කරන්න යන්නේ ටිකක් වෙනස් විදියේ චිත්‍රපටයක් ගැනයි. මෙය 2015 වසරේ දී තිරගත වූ අතර  "Guillermo del Toro" විසින් මෙය අධ්‍යක්ෂණය කරන ලදී. මෙයට නිෂ්පාදන දායකත්වය ලබා දෙන්නේ "Legendary Pictures and Del Toro's production company"" විසිනි.එහෙමනම් අපි යමු කතාව වෙතට,

මෙය චිත්‍රපටයේ ප්‍රධාන චරිතයක් තමයි ඊඩිත් කියන්නේ. ඇයට වයස අවුරුදු දහයේ සිටම බූතාත්ම දකින්න හැකියාවක් ලැබිලා තියනවා.ඇත්තටම මේ කාලයේ දී තමයි ඊඩිත්ගේ අම්මා ද මරණයට පත්වන්නේ.ඇය මේ අවමංගල්‍ය කටයුතු අවසන් කිරීමෙන් පසුව රාත්‍රියේ තනිවම ඇඳට වැටී අම්මා ගැන කල්පනා කරමින් සිටියි. මේ සමඟම ඊඩිත්ට සද්දයක් ඇහෙන්න ගන්නවා.එවිට ඇය දකිනවා තමන් ළඟට බූතාත්මයක් එනවා. මේ සමඟ ඊඩිත් හොඳටම බයවේලා ඇස්දෙක වහගෙන නිදාගන්නවා.නමුත් බූතාත්මය ළඟටවිත් ඇ‍යට කියන්නේ “ක්‍රිම්සන් පීක්” වලින් ආරක්ෂා වෙන්න කියලයි.මෙලෙස බූතාත්මයක් ලෙස ඊඩිත් සොයාගෙන පැමිණෙන්නේ ඇගේ ම අම්මයි.මේ සිදුවීමෙන් වසර දහයක් ගතවෙනවා. දැන් ඊඩිත් ලස්සන තරුණියක් . ඇගේ එකම හීනය තමයි පොත් රචකයෙක් වීම. දවසක් ඊඩිත් විශාල ගොඩනැගිල්ලක් වෙත යනවා. මෙයට ඇතුලු වීමේ දී ඇයට පොඩි කාලේ යාලුවෙන් හමුවෙනවා. ඒ තමයි ඩොක්ටර් ඇලන්.මේ දෙදෙනා කතා කරමින් සිටිය දී එතනට ඇලන්ගේ මව සහා මවගේ යාළුවන් පිරිසක් පැමිණෙනවා.මෙතන දී ඔවුන් නගරයට පැමිණි කඩවසම් තරුණයෙක් සහා ඔහුගේ අක්කා ගැන කතා කරනු ලබනවා.කොහොම නමුත් ඇලන්ගෙ මව ඊඩිත්ට පොත් රචක‍යෙක් වීමට සිහින බැලීම ගැනත්  අපවාද නගනවා. මේ අවස්ථාවේ දී ඊඩිත් ඇලන්ගේ අම්මාට රළු වචන ටිකක් කියමින් එතැනින් ඉවත් වී යනවා.කොහොම නමුත් ඊඩිත් තමන් ලියන ලද අලුත් පොතත් රැගෙන පොත් ප්‍රකාශකයෙක් හමුවිමට යනවා.නමුත් එය එතරම් සාර්ථක නොවන බවක් අපට පෙන්වනවා.

එදින රාත්‍රියේ  ඊඩිත් තම පියා සමඟ ආහාර ගනිමින් සිටිය දී කියා සිටින්නේ තමාගේ ඊළඟ පොත  අතින් ලියනවට වඩා ටයිප් කරන එක පහසුයි කියලයි.මේ අවස්ථාවේ දී ඊඩිත් පියාගෙන්  අවසර ඉල්ලනවා , කාර්‍යාලයට පැමිණ එය ටයිප් කිරීමට . ඊඩිත්ගේ පියා කුෂින් මෙම නගරයේ සිටින ඉතාමත් ධනවත් පුදගලයෙකි.කොහොම නමුත් ඊඩිත් දවසක් පියාගේ කාර්‍යාලයට ගොස් පොත ටයිප් කරමින් සිටියි. මෙම ස්ථානයට ඉතාමත් කඩවසම් තරුණයෙක් පැමිණෙයි.ඔහුගේ නම තෝමස් ෂාප් . ඔහු කුෂින් ව හමුවීමට හැකිදැයි විමසනවා. ඒ වගේ ම තෝමස් ඊඩිත්ගේ පොතත් ටිකක් කියවනවා.මෙතනදී ඔහු ඊඩිත්ට කියන්නේ මේ කථාව සිත් ඇඳගන්නා සුලු කතාවක් බවයි.නමුත් ඔවුන්ට වැඩි කතා බහක් සිදුකිරීමට අවස්ථා නොලැබී යයි.මොකද කුෂින් එම ස්ථානයට පැමිණ ඔහුව රැගෙන යයි. තෝමස් ; කුෂින් සහා ඔහුගේ මිතුරන් හමුවීමට පැමිණෙන්නේ ඔහුගේ අලුත් ව්‍යාපාරයට මුදල් ආයෝජනය කරවා ගැනීමටයි.තෝමස්ට තමන්ගේ පවුලෙන් මැටි ආකරයක් හිමිවෙයි.ඔහුට අවශ්‍ය වන්නේ උපකරණ යොදාගනිමින් මෙය මහා පරිමාණයෙන් එය සිදු කිරීමටයි.මේ නිසා තෝමස්ට ආයෝජකයන් අවශ්‍ය වෙයි.නමුත් ඔහුගේ යෝජනාවට කුෂින් අකමැත්තක් පළ කරනු ලබයි.එදින රාත්‍රියේ කුෂින් උත්සවයකට යාමට සැරසෙන අතරතුර ඊඩිත් පැමිණ තාත්තට කියන්නේ තෝමස්ට එක අවස්ථාවක්වත් ලබාදීමට තිබුණා කියලයි.එවිට කුෂින් දුවට කියන්නේ එම පුද්ගලයා පිළිබඳ තමාට නරක හැඟීමක් දැනුන නිසා එලෙස කටයුතු කළ බවයි.

කොහොම නමුත් ඊඩිත් නිවසේ තනිවම කාමරයටවෙලා පොතක් කියවමින් සිටියි.ඒ සමඟම ඇයට දැනෙනවා කවුරුන් හෝ තමාගේ කාමරයෙ දොර හරින්නට උත්සහ කරන බව. ඊඩිත් හෙමින් සැරේ ගොස් කාමරයේ දොර අරියි. එතැනදී ඊඩිත් දකිනවා බූතාත්මයක් තමන් ඉදිරියේ සිටින ආකාරය. ඇය තදින් දොර වසමින් විමසන්නේ "තමන්ගේන් අවශ්‍ය මොනව ද කියලයි". මේ වෙලාවෙ දී බූතාත්මය ඇයව තදින් අල්ලමින් කියාසිටින්නේ " ක්‍රිම්සන් පීක් වලින් ආරක්ෂාවෙලා ඉන්න" කියලයි.මේ වේලාවෙ දී ම නිවසේ සේවිකාවක් පැමිණ ඊඩිත්ට කියනන්නේ " තෝමස් ඇවිල්ලා ඉන්නවා ඔයාව හම්බෙන්න" කියලයි.ඉන්පසු ඊඩිත් තෝමස්ට කතා කිරීමට යනවා.මේ වේලාවෙ දී ඔහු ඊඩිත්ට කියන්නේ " ඔයාගේ තාත්තා ගිය උත්සවයට යන්න මාත් එක්ක එන්න" කියලයි.ඊඩිත් මෙම අදහසට එකඟවෙලා ඔහු සමඟ උත්සවයට යනවා.මෙම උත්සවයේ  ඉතාමත් ලස්සන තරුණියක් පියානෝ වාදනය කරන ආකාරය පෙන්වනවා.මේ උත්සවයේ සිටින සියළු දෙනාම තෝමස් සහා ඊඩිත් දෙසබලන් ඉන්නවා. මොකද මොවුන් දෙදෙනා බොහොම ලස්සනට මෙම  උත්සවයට පැමිණෙනවා.මේ වෙලාවේ දී ඊඩිත් තමන්ගේ යාලුවා ඇලන්ව තෝමස්ව හදුන්වා දෙන අතරම,තෝමස් ද තමන්ගේ අක්කාව ඊඩිත්ට හඳුන්වා දෙනවා.ඇගේ නම ලූසිල්. ඇය ඉතාමත් ලස්සන කාන්තාවක්. කොහොම නමුත් තෝමස්  ඊඩිත්ට නර්තනයේ යෙදීමට ආරාධනා කරනවා. ඇය ඊට එකඟ වූවයින් පසුව ඔවුන් දෙදෙනාම ලස්සනට නර්තනයේ යෙදෙනවා.මේ වන විටත් ඔවුන් දෙදෙනා අතර කිසියම් ආදරණිය බැඳීමක් ගොඩනැඟී ඇති බව පෙන්වනවා.නමුත් කුෂින් නම් ඉන්නේ මේ ගැන බයෙන්.කුෂින් පෞද්ගලික පරීක්ෂකවරයෙක් සොයාගෙන ඔහුට කියන්නේ "තෝමස් ගැන විස්තර තමන්ට අවශ්‍යයි" කියලයි.දවසක් රහස් පරීක්ෂකවරයා කුෂින්ට වාර්තාවක් ලබාදෙනවා. කුෂින් ඉන්පසු තෝමස් හමූ වීමට ගොස් විශාල මුදලක් ලබා දී කියා සිටින්නේ "මේ මුදල් රැගෙන නගරෙන් යන්න.හැබෙයි යන්න කලින් මගේ දුවත් එක්ක තියෙන සම්බන්ධතා සියල්ල ඉවර කරලා යන්න " කියලයි.තෝමස් පොරොන්දූ වූ අකාරයටම ඊඩිත් ගාවට ගොස් ඇගේ හිත රිදෙන කථා කියනවා.නමුත් එදින රාත්‍රියේ දී කුෂින්ව කවුරුන්හෝහෝ ඝාතනය කරනවා.පසුවදා තෝමස් ඊඩිත්ට ලියුමක් ඒවා කියාසිටින්නේ "අපි දෙන්නා අතර තියෙන සම්බන්ධය නතර කිරීමට තමන්ට පගාවක් දුන්නා" කියලයි.ඉන්පසු ඊඩිත් තෝමස් සොයා ඔහු නැවතිසිටි හෝටලය වෙත යනවා. මෙතැනදී ඊඩිත්ට තෝමස් හමුවෙන අතර නැවත ඔවුන් දෙදෙනා ආදරෙන් බැඳෙනවා.මේම ස්ථානයට කුෂින්ගේ  නීතිඥවරයා පැමිණ කුෂින්ගේ මරණය පිළිබඳව කියනවා.පසුව අපට පෙන්වන්නේ කුෂින්ගේ අවමංගල්‍ය උත්සවයයි.මේ හැමවේලාවකදීම තෝමස් , ඊඩිත් ගාවින්ම ඉන්නවා.

ඊඩිත් සහ තෝමස් විවාහ වෙනවා.ටික කාලයට පසුව ඊඩිත් තෝමස් සමඟ ඔහුගේ නිවසේ පදිංචියට යනවා. ඊඩිත් නිවසට ඇතුළු වීමට පෙරම ඇය දකිනවා ලස්සන බලු පැටියෙක්.ඇය ඉන්පසු බල්ලව ලඟින්ම තියා ගන්නවා.ඇය නිවසට ඇතුළු වීමේ දී දැනගන්න්වා. මේ නිවස ගිලාබසිම්න් තිබෙන බව. ඒකට හේතුව තමයි මැටි ආකරයක් මත නිවස පිහිටීම.ටික වේලවකට පසුව ඇය චායාවක් දකිනවා. නමුත් ඒ කවුද යන්න ඇයට හොයා ගන්න බැරිවෙනවා. ලූසිලුත් මේ නිවසේම පදිංචිවෙලා ඉන්නවා අපිට පෙන්වනවා.ඊඩිත්  ඉන්පසු නාන කාමරයට ගොස් පිරිසිදු වෙනවා. ඇගේ පිටුපසින් මඩ තැවරුණ ආත්මයක් සිටින බව මෙහිදී අපට දැකගන්න ලැබෙනවා. නමුත් ඊඩිත් හැරිලා බලද්දී ඇයට දැකගන්න ලැබෙන්නේ නෑ.

හවස ලූසිල් ඊඩිත්ට තේ හදලා දෙනවා. ඒය ගොඩක් තිත්ත නිසා ඇය ඒකට කැමති වෙන්නෙ නෑ. නමුත් ඒ වේලාවේදී තෝමස් කියන්නේ විෂේශ බෙරි ජාතියකින් එය සෑදු බවයි.මේ අතර ඇලන්ට කුෂින්ගේ මරණය සම්බන්ධව සැක මතුවෙලා තියෙනවා. ඒ නිසාම ඇලන් ඒ පිළිබඳව හොයන ආකාරය අපට පෙන්වනවා. මේ අතර ලූසිල් හැමදාම ඊඩිත්ට තේ සාදා දෙන ආකාරය ද අපට පෙන්වනවා.නමුත් තෝමස් නම් මේ ගැන එතරම් කැමැත්තක් නොමැති බව පෙන්වනවා.දිනක් ඊඩිත් බඩේ ආමාරුවක් සෑදි ඇහැරෙනවා. එවිට ඇය දකිනවා තෝමස් තමා ළඟ නොමැති බව.මේ වෙලාවේ දී ඇය තෝමස් සොයාගෙන යනවා.මේ වේලාවේදී ඇය දකිනවා ආවතාරයක් ඇගේ පසුපසු එනවා. මේ වෙලාවේ දී ඊඩිත් බල්ලවත් වඩාගෙන නිවසේ ලිෆ්ට් එකෙන් පහත මාලයට යනවා.මෙහිදි ඇයට මැටි දාපූ කල්දේරම් දකින්න ලැබෙනවා.මෙහිදි ඇයට තවත් දකින්න ලැබෙනවා අඟුලු දැමූ ට්‍රන්ක පෙට්ටියක්.එහි නමක් ද ගසා තිබෙනවා.

දවසක් ඊඩිත් තෝමස්ගෙන් අහන්නේ " මේ ගෙදර කලින් කවුරුහරි මැරුණ ද " කියලයි. එවිට තෝමස් කියන්නේ" මේක ගොඩක් පරණ ගෙදරක් . ඒ නිසා ගොඩක්  අය මැරිලා ඇති කියලයි.මේ අතර තෝමස්ගේ අත මැෂින් එකකට පිච්චෙනවා. මේ වෙලාවේ දී ඊඩිත් ඔහුට බෙහෙත් දානවා. මේ වේලාවේ දී තෝමස් කියනවා. මේ ගෙදරට "ක්‍රිම්සන් පීක්"  නමිනුත් කතා කරනවා කියලා.මේ වේලාවෙදී ඊඩිත් හොඳටම බයවෙනවා. මෙසේ කාලේ ගෙවෙන අතරතුර ඊඩිත්ට නිතරම අර අවතාරය දකින්න ලැබෙනවා. ඊඩිත්ට නිරන්තරයෙන් මේ අවතාරය දකින්න ලැබෙන නිසාම බයත් නැතිවෙලා ගිහින්. නමුත් මේ  අවතාරය ඊඩිත්ට හැමතිස්සෙම කියන්නේ හැකි ඉක්මනින් මේ නිවසින් පිටවෙන්න කියලයි . කොහොම නමුත් ඊඩිත් එන්න එන්නම දුර්වලවෙනවා. ඊඩිත් මේ නිවසේ ඉන්නේ හරිම කලකිරීමකින්. ඉතින් තෝමස් ඇයව එළියට එක්කන් යන්න තීරණය කරනවා. මේ වේලාවේදී ලූසිල් කියන්නේ " මල්ලි බූදලේ පවරගන්න වැඩේ ඉක්මනින් කරන්න. එතකොට අපිට මේ වැඩේ ඉක්මනට  ඉවරකරලා දැම්ම හැකි "කියලයි.කොහොම නමුත් ඊඩිත් සහ තෝමස් නගරයට යනවා. එදින සීත කුණාටු නිසා ඔවුන් දවසක් එහි නතර වී සිට නිවසට යනවා. මේ වේලාවේදී ඔවුන් නැවත ආදරය කරන බව පෙන්වනවා. පසුදා නිවසට යන විට ලූසිල් ට හොඳටම තරහ යනවා. තෝමස් ඇය සමඟ නිදගත්ත ද ‍යනුවෙන් ඇය කේන්තියෙන් අසනවා.

ඊඩිත් දවසක් ලූසිල්ගේ යතුරක් සොරකම් කර කල්දේ‍රම් අසල තියෙන ට්‍රන්ක පෙට්ටිය ඇරලා බලනවා. එහි තිබූ ලියකිවිලි අරන්ගොස් ඊඩිත් හොර රහසේම කියවනවා. මේ අවස්ථාවේ දී ඊඩිත් දැනගන්නවා. තෝමස් මීර පෙර කාන්තාවන් තිදෙනෙක් විවාහ කරන් සිටිබව. ඒ වගේම එක විවාහයකින් ඔහුට දරුවෙක් පවා ඉන්න බව ඇය දැනගන්නවා.එමෙන් ම ඇය දැනගන්නවා තමන්ට ලබාදෙන තේකට වස කලවම් කර දෙනබවත්.ඒ වේලාවේ දීම නිවසින් යන්න ඇය තීරණය කරනවා. නමුත් තද හිම කුණාටුව නිසම ඇයට යන්න බැරිවෙනවා. මේ අතර ඇලන් තෝමස්ගේ සියලූ දෑ දැනගන්නවා. ඔහු ඊඩිත්ව බේරා ගැනීමට පැමිණෙනවා.

කොහොම නමුත් දිනක් ඊඩිත් රාත්‍රියේ ඇහැරෙනවා. තෝමස් ඇයගාන නොමැති බවත් ඊඩිත් දැනගන්වා. මේ වේලාවේ දී  ඊඩිත් දකිනවා තමන්ගේ සහෝදරිය සමඟ තෝමස් කාමුකව හැසිරෙනවා. මේ වේලාවේ දී ඊඩිත් ට එය දරාගැනීමට නොහැකිව පැන යන්න උත්සහ කරනවා. මේ වේලාවේදී ලූසිල් ඇයව උඩ තට්ටුවේ සිට තල්ලු කරනවා. තෝමස් එයට විරුද්ධ වුණත් කිසිවක් කිරීමට නොහැකි වෙනවා. මේ අතර ඇලන් ඊඩිත්ව බේරා ගැනීමට එනවා. නමුත් ලුසිල් ඔහුටද පිහියකින් අනිනවා.  ලූසිල් ඊඩිත්ව රැගෙන කාමරයට ගොස් ඇයට දේපල පවරාදීමේ කොළයට අත්සන් කරන්න කියලා තර්ජනය කරනවා. මේ වේලාවේ දී ම් ඊඩිත් සියලු විස්තර අහනවා.එවිට තමන්ගේ පියා කුෂින්ව ඝාතනය කරේ ලූසිල් බව ඇය දැනගන්නවා. එමෙන්ම තෝමස්ගේ දරුවා ගැනත් ඊඩිත් අසනවා. එවිට ලූසිල් කියන්නේ ඒ  දරුවා ඇයගේ බවයි. ඒ වගේම ලූසිල් සහ තෝමස්ගේ මව ද ඔවුන් විසින් ඝාතනය කර සිදුවිමත් ඊඩිත්ට කියනවා. මේ අවස්තාවේ දී ලූසිල්ට පෑනෙන් ඇය ඊඩිත් පැන යන්න උත්සහ කරනවා. එතනට තෝමස් පැමිණෙන අතර ඔහු ඊඩිත් ට උදව් කරනවා. මේ වේලාවේදී ලූසිල්ට ඔහු කියනවා " තමන් ඊඩිත්ට ඇත්තටම ආදරය කරන" බව. මෙය දැනගත් විට ලූසිල් ඔහුව ඝාතනය කරනු ලබනවා.ඉන්පසු ඊඩිත් පසුපස ලුහුබඳිනවා. මේ වේලාවේ දී ඊඩිත් ඇයව ඝාතනය කර ඇලන් සමඟ පැනයනවා. එවිට ඔවුන් බේරා ගැනීමට ඈතින් පිරිසක් එන බව අපිට පෙන්වනවා. මෙතැනින් මේ කථාව අවසන් වෙනවා. කොහොම නමුත් මේ මැරුණු සියල්ලගේම අවතාර එම නිවස තුළ ම සැරිසරමින් සිටින බව දර්ශනය කරනු ලබනවා. ත්‍රාසය, භීතිය, ආදරය, රැවටීම සියල්ල රැගත් සිනමා නි‍ර්මාණයක් ලෙසට මෙය පෙන්වා දිය හැකියි.

At the same time, Edith hears a noise and sees a ghost approaching her. With this, Edith is very scared and sleeps with her eyes closed. But the ghost approaches her and tells her to protect herself from "Crimson Peak". In this way, it is her own mother who finds Edith as a ghost. Ten years have passed since this incident. Now Edith is a beautiful young woman. Her only dream is to become a book writer. One day, Edith goes to a large building. In entering this, she meets her childhood friend. That's Dr. Allen. While these two were talking, Alan's mother and a group of her mother's friends arrive. Here they talk about a handsome young man who came to town and his sister. However, Alan's mother scolds Edith for dreaming of becoming a book writer. At this time, Edith says some harsh words to Alan's mother and leaves. However, Edith goes to meet a book publisher with the new book she has written. But it shows us that it is not very successful.

That night, while eating with her father, Edith claims that typing her next book is easier than writing it by hand. At this time, Edith asks her father for permission to come to the office and type it. Edith's father Kushin is a very rich person in this city. However, one day Edith went to her father's office and was typing the book. A very handsome young man comes to this place. His name is Thomas Sharp. He asks if he can meet Kushin. Similarly, Thomas reads a little of Edith's book. Here he tells Edith that this story is an interesting story, but they don't get a chance to talk much because Cushing comes to the place and takes him away. Thomas; Cushing and his friends come to meet him to get money to invest in his new venture. Thomas owns a clay mine from his family and he wants to use equipment to make it on a large scale. Because of this, Thomas needs investors. But Cushing is reluctant to his proposal. That night, while Cushing is about to go to a party, Edith comes and tells her father that she should have given Thomas one chance. Then Cushing tells her daughter that she acted like that because she had a bad feeling about that person.

However, Edith is reading a book alone in her room at home. At the same time, she feels that someone is trying to open the door of her room. Edith slowly walks over and opens the door to the room. There, Edith sees a ghost standing in front of her. She closes the door and asks "what do you want". At this time, the ghost held her tightly and said, "Be safe from Crimson Peak." At this time, a servant of the house comes and tells Edith that "Thomas has come to see you". Then Edith goes to talk to Thomas. Edith and Thomas get married. After a while, Edith moves in with Thomas at his house. Before Edith enters the house, she sees a beautiful puppy. She then holds the dog close to her. This house is available in sinking. The reason for that is the location of the house on a clay mine. After some time, she sees a tea. But she cannot find out who it is. කාලය මෙසේ ගෙවීගොස් කුමරිය නව යොවුන්වියට පා තබනවා.කුමරියගේ සෙවිකාවගේ නම බොක් සුන් .ඇය කුමරියගේ සෙවණැල්ල වගේ හැමතැනකදී ම ඇය ළඟින්ම ඉන්නවා. දිනක් කුමරියට උත්සවයකට සහභාගි වීමට සිදුවෙනවා. මෙහි දී ඇයට කිමොනාවක් දී එය ඇඳගෙන එම උත්සවයට සහභාගී වනලෙස පැවසුවත් ඇය බටහිර ඇඳුමක් ඇඳගෙන එම උත්සවය වෙත සහභාගි වෙනවා.මෙහිදී ජපන් නිලධාරීන්ට මෙන්ම ජපානයට පක්ෂපාතී කොරියානු නිලධාරීන්ට කේන්ති යනවා.එමෙන්ම ඇයට රටේ මිනිසුන් බෙහෙවින් ආදරය කරන ආකාරය ඔවුන් දකිනවා.යම් දිනක කුමරිය ඔවුන්ට තර්ජනයක් වෙවිදෝ යන්න පිළිබඳවත් ඔවුන් බියවෙනවා.

මේ සියලු දේ පිටුපස හන් ටෙක් සූ නැමැති නිළධාරියා සිටිනවා. ඔහු කුමරියව ඉගැනීම සඳහා ජපානයට යැවීමට කටයුතු කරනවා. නමුත් කුමරිය එය ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කර ද පසුව හන් ටෙක් සූ කුමරියට තර්ජනය කර කියා සිටින්නේ ඇය මෙම ගමනට අකමැති වුවහොත් " අගබිසව ද රජතුමා මෙන් මියයනු ඇතැයි" කියලයි.මේ නිසා කුමරිය ජපානය බලාපිටත් වෙනවා.වසර මෙලෙස ගෙවී යන අතර අගබිසව එවන ලිපි ද ඇයට නොදීමට හන් ටෙක් සූ ක්‍රියා කරනවා.මේ අතර ජැන් හන් (එකල රජතුමා කුමරිය විවාහ කරගන්නා ලෙසට පැවසූ පුද්ගලයා) ජපන් නිලධාරියෙක් ලෙසට පැමිණ කුමරියව ආරක්ෂා කරනවා. සැබවින් ම ඔහු ඔත්තුකරුවෙක් ලෙසටයි මෙසේ ජපානයට පැමිණෙන්නේ.මේ අතර කුමරියව නැවත මව් රට වෙත රැගෙන යාමට ඔහු ඇතුළු කණ්ඩායමක් සැලසුම් කරනවා.ඇත්තටම මේ වනවිටත් කුමරිය ඇයගේ සහොදරයා සමඟ ජිවත් වෙනවා. සියලු සැපසම්පත් ලැබුණ ද මෙම කොරියානු රජ පවුලට රූකඩ ලෙස ජිවත් වෙන්නට සිදුවෙනවා.

කොරියානු වහල් සේවකයන් ලෙස රැගෙන ආ පුදගලයන් ඉදිරියේ කුමරියට කතාවක් කිරීමට සිදුවෙනවා. කුමරිය එය ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කරද්දී හන් ටෙක් පවසන්නේ කුමරියට මව බැලීමට යන්න අවස්ථාව ලබාදෙන ලෙසයි. මේ නිසා කුමරිය මෙම උත්සවය වෙත ගිය ද කතාවේ මුල් ටික ඇය ජපන් බසින් කීව ද ඇයට අවසානයේ ඇයගේ ජනතාව විදින වේදනාව දැක කුමරිය කතාව වෙනස් කරමින් කොරියානු බසින් එම ජනතාවගෙන් සමාව ඉල්ලමින් උත්සහය අත්නොහරින ලෙසට ඉල්ලා සිටිනවා.මේහි දී කෝප වූ හන් ටෙක් කුමරියට පහරක් එල්ල කරනවා. මේ අවස්ථාවේ දී කුමරියගේ සේවිකාව ඔහුට ගහනවා.කෙසෙ නමුත් එදින රාත්‍රියේ දීම කුමරියගේ සේවිකාව කොරියාවට පිටුවහල් කරනවා.මේ  අතර අගබිසව ද මරණයට පත් වූ බව පවසනවා.කුමරිය දැඩිලෙස කම්පාවට පත්වෙනවා.

දිනක ජැන් හන් ඇතුළු කණ්ඩායම ජපානයට විරුද්ධව කැරැල්ලක් ගසා පැනයාමට ගන්නා උත්සහය අසාර්ථක වෙනවා. මෙහිදී ජැන් හන් සහ කුමරිය හැර අන් සියල්ලම මරණයට පත්වෙනවා.අවසානයේ කුමරිය ජපන් සිටුවරයෙක්ට විවාහ කර දෙනවා.ඔවුන්ට එක් දුවක් ඉපදෙනවා.මෙසේ කාලය ගෙවීගොස් දකුණු කොරියාව  සහ ජපනය අතර පැවති යුද්ධයෙන් කොරියාව ජයග්‍රහණය කරනවා.මෙහිදී කොරියනු ජාතිකයන්නට නැවත තම මව්රට බලා පිටත් වීමට අවස්ථාව උදාවෙනවා.කුමරිය දරුවා සමඟ ගුවන්තොටුපොළ වෙත යනු ලැබුවත් ඇයට තම රටට ඇතුළු වීමට තහනම් කර තිබෙනවා.

කුමරිය දැඩි කම්පනයට පත්වන අතරම ඇයව මානසික රෝහල වෙත ඇතුළු කරනවා. මෙසේ අවුරුදු ගාණක් ගෙවී යනවා. කුමරිය වයසට යනවා මේ රෝහලේ දීම. මෙහිදී ජැන් හන් පත්තර වාර්තාකාරයෙකු ලෙස කටයුතු කරනවා. ඔහු දැනගනු ලබනවා කුමරිය වෙනත් නමකින් ජපානයේ මානසික රෝහලක සිටින බව. පසුව ඔහු මැදිහත් වී දකුණු කොරියාව තුළ තිබූ ඇයගේ තහනම ඉවත් කරගනිමින් කුමරියව ඇයගේ මව් රට බලා රැගෙන යනවා.මෙහිදී ඇයව පිළිගැනීමට ඇගේ ළඟම සේවිකවක් වූ බොක් සුන් ඇතුලු ඇනෙක් සේවකයන් ගුවන් තොටුපළවෙත පැමිණ සිටිනවා.මෙසේ වසර 38 කට පසුව ඇය තම මව්රටට පැමිණෙනවා. පසුව ඇය මාළිගය වෙත යනවා. ඇය තමන්ගේ කුඩා කාලය මතක් කර ගන්නවා.ජැන් හන් අවසානය වෙනතෙක් ඇය සමඟ සිටිනවා. කුමරියක් තම රට විදපු දුක් ගැහැට මෙහිදී අපට පෙන්වනවා. මෙසේ දකුණු කොරියාවේ අවසන් රාජකුමරියේ කථාව අවසන් වෙනවා.

Thus, she returns to her home country after 38 years. Then she goes to the palace. She remembers her childhood. Jan Han is with her until the end.
